Physicians Formula Ph Matchmaker pH Powered Lip Gloss Review.

Hello beautiful ladies,

I am a huge fan of lip products and after getting addicted to i FASHION, my collection has grown around ten times and so today again, I am back with a lip product.  This time it’s from a brand called Physician’s Formula.  For me, it was a normal lip gloss but the company claims it to be pH matchmaker pH powered lip gloss, that means it matches to the pH of our lips. I did not mention the color in my heading or description as it comes in one color which is kind of a hot pink color.  For me, it is nothing less than a magical lip product. To know about my views, please keep reading.

Packaging:

The gloss comes in a transparent bottle with a black cap. The bottle contains a mirror on it which makes it easier to apply it any time without the need of an extra mirror.

Ingredients:

Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ozokerite, Propylene Glycol Ricinoleate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, BHT, Citric Acid, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol. May Contain: Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Iron Oxides, Mica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Red 6 Lake, Red 27, Red 7 Lake.

Directions For Use:

Apply an even layer over lips. Reapply throughout the day as desired, (but I really don’t think that this product need to be reapplied).

My Take on Physicians Formula Ph Matchmaker pH Powered Lip Gloss:

I am confused about where to start from. I would start with the first thing I saw when I had this product in my hand, it was the packaging. The packaging is simple yet elegant and the best part is the mirror provided on the bottle. The bottle is very easy to open and the applicator provided makes the product easy to apply too. The applicator is different from the usual sponge tip applicator and it is some kind of a brush which is extremely smooth on lips.

The other thing I would love to mention is the fact that it contains two little LED bulbs. Initially, I was unable to find them, but one day, I accidentally pressed a button given on the top of the cap, and the bulbs lit up. I was so amazed that I tried the on/off 4-5 times just to make myself believe that it is actually there. The LED bulbs make the application very convenient. They are right on the bottom of the applicator and are placed such that when you will apply the gloss with the applicator, the lights would fall directly on your lips making it easy to apply even if there is no light around.  I am highly impressed with the whole thought.

Now, coming to the pigmentation, I am unable to understand that how someone can call it only a gloss, it is hell a lot pigmented. Just one swipe and the lips are sparkling with shine. It is not only the pigmentation that is amazing, but the staying power is amazing too. When I applied it for the first time, it stayed for around 8 hours which included my dinner and today when I applied it for clicking for lip swatches, it became so difficult to remove it, I used my makeup remover twice and also tried with some cream, but some color is still there.

It’s truly a magical lip product for me. I haven’t come across anything like this and after using this, I can’t stop praising the product.
